The nepal telecom has taken a new rules regarding your imei number. You all have to register your mobile IMEI number in nta site before shrawan 1,which is a governmental site. If don’t do registered then your mobile would be ban in nepal. For registration you have type:- (www.eir.nta.gov.np/main/).
Follow the instructions in the above site. For registration you need your citizenship or else your family members, your mobile IMEI number, mobile model number, mobile brand. These things are the requirement while you doing register.
This rule should be implemented after shrawan 1, before you have to do it. This rules is implemented in nepal because of privacy rules and fake mobile available in the market. If your family members purchase a mobile from foreign and want to use in nepal, then that mobile imei number should registered in nepal nta site. Then only you are able to use it.
